Already Enrolled · Free Medicare Plan Review
Already on Medicare?
You might be paying too much,
or covered too little.
Most people pick a Medicare plan once and never look at it again. But plans change every year — and so do your needs. A free review could save you hundreds of dollars and get you better coverage. No pressure, no obligation.
Your Plan Changed. Did You Notice?
Medicare decisions are deeply personal. They depend on your parent's health, their doctors, their prescriptions, their budget, and their lifestyle. What works perfectly for one person can be the wrong choice for another.
Add to that the sheer volume of plan options, the confusing government terminology, and the pressure of enrollment deadlines — and it's easy to see why so many adult children feel lost trying to help.
The good news is you don't have to figure it out alone. We've helped hundreds of Texas families navigate this exact situation, and we're here to help yours.
💡 You are never locked in forever. Every year during
Annual Enrollment (Oct 15 – Dec 7) you can switch plans,
drop coverage, or add coverage — completely free to review
with our help.
Signs You Might Be on the Wrong Plan
Any of these sound familiar?
If so, a free review is absolutely worth your time.
Sign #1: Your premium went up and you don't know why
Medicare plan premiums can increase significantly from year to year. If your monthly cost has crept up and you haven't compared alternatives recently, there's a good chance a comparable or better plan is available
at a lower price. We compare every option available in your ZIP code at no cost.
Sign #2: Your doctor is no longer in your plan's network
Medicare Advantage plans have provider networks that change annually. If your primary care doctor, specialist, or preferred hospital has left your plan's network, you may be paying out-of-network rates without realizing it — or being forced to find a new provider. We check your current doctors against every available plan.
Sign #3: Your prescriptions are costing more than they used to
Drug formularies — the list of medications covered by your plan and at what cost — change every year. A medication that was in a low-cost tier last year may have moved to a more expensive tier this year. We run
a full prescription cost comparison across every Part D plan in your area to find you the lowest total cost.
Questions We Hear Most from People Already on Medicare
If you've been on Medicare for a while, these questions probably sound familiar.
We hear them at every workshop from people just like you.
"Can I actually switch plans, or am I stuck with what I have?"
You can switch plans every year during the Annual Enrollment Period — October 15 through December 7. Changes take effect January 1 of the following year. There are also Special Enrollment Periods triggered by specific life events like moving, losing other coverage, or your plan leaving your area. You are never permanently locked into a Medicare plan.
"I've had my plan for years. Is it really worth reviewing?"
Almost always yes. We regularly find people who are significantly overpaying for their current plan, have lost access to doctors they care about, or are paying more than necessary for their prescriptions — simply because they haven't compared alternatives in a few years. The review takes less than an hour and costs you nothing.
"What's the difference between Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage — and can I switch between them?"
Medicare Supplement (Medigap) gives you broad access to doctors and predictable out-of-pocket costs. Medicare Advantage bundles your coverage through a private insurer with a network of providers. You can switch from Advantage back to Original Medicare with a Supplement during Annual Enrollment, but be aware that in most states you may need to pass medical underwriting to get a Supplement plan after
your initial enrollment period. We walk through all of this
with you in detail.
"My health has changed since I first enrolled.
Does that affect my options?"
It can — and it's one of the most important reasons to do a regular review. Changes in your health may mean different doctors, new prescriptions, or more frequent specialist visits. All of these affect which plan gives you the best coverage at the lowest total cost. We take your current health situation into account when reviewing your options.
"Is there any help available if I'm having trouble affording my premiums or prescriptions?"
Yes. If your income and resources are below certain thresholds, you may qualify for programs that reduce or eliminate your Part B premium, Part D premium, and prescription costs. These include Medicare Savings Programs and Extra Help (Low Income Subsidy). Many people who qualify don't know these programs exist. We'll check your eligibility
at no cost.
What Happens at a Free Plan Review
Unlike our group workshops, a plan review is typically a one-on-one conversation with one of our licensed advisors — either in person, by phone, or at one of our free library workshops. We look at your current
plan, your doctors, your prescriptions, and your budget, then compare every available option in your ZIP code.
Here's what we cover:
• A full review of your current plan's premiums and benefits
• Side-by-side comparison of every plan available in your area
• Prescription drug cost analysis across all Part D plans
• Verification that your current doctors are covered
• Identification of any cost-assistance programs you may qualify for
• A clear recommendation with no pressure to act on it
Most reviews take less than an hour. You leave knowing exactly where you stand — and whether there's a better option available to you.
Why Is This Free?
We're independent, licensed Medicare advisors. If you decide to switch plans through us, the insurance company pays us a commission — at no extra cost to you. Your premium is exactly the same whether you work with us or make the change on your own.
If you review your options and decide to stay with your current plan, that's a completely valid outcome. We'd rather you stay on the right plan than switch unnecessarily. Our reputation is built on honest advice, not on churning plans for commission.
